Roysambu United actively supports the youth through sports and talent development.

Football is already part of Roysambu's DNA. Children, local clubs, schools, universities, and institutions are always playing. We sponsored a structured tournament that carried on the spirit and energy and turned it into real community value.

The tournament brought together over 40 local football clubs, both ladies' and male teams, from across the five wards, culminating in a high-stakes final with a prize award.

Our key focus for the youth in Roysambu was to keep them engaged in weekly and weekend games that would enhance their football skills and talent. This would also develop teamwork, discipline, leadership, time management, as well as properly handling both wins and losses.

It was also a talent pathway for local scouts, academies, and even FKF representatives to show up to tournaments and see the local talent we have.

Well-run tournaments such as the Roysambu United Grassroots Football event create an avenue for proper supervision and mentorship. Coaches, referees, and elders often double as role models.

Roysambu has produced players who made it to the Division 1 League, FKF officials, and beyond. Tournaments keep that legacy alive and inspire the next generation.

Finally, we were also happy to support the local business community through enlisting vendors, boda riders, DJs, MCs, and small shops that make money on match days. Even jersey printers, bloggers, and photographers get an opportunity to do business.
